Support Groups

Funded by Dan鈥檚 Fund, ABUK runs an online forum for parents, relatives as well as adult burn survivors to discuss burn-related topics. The forum is every Wednesday (7.30鈥� 9.00pm) on the Adult Burn Support UK website.

A website aimed to make health support easily accessible to everyone, offering interactivity between health professionals, charities and fellow patients and their carers.

Wessex Lasercare
The Laser clinic has a long history of treating burn scars using lasers. It is situated at the end of the Plastics corridor on Level 3 of the hospital. Members of staff in the Scar Management Clinic will help to identify scars that would be suitable for laser treatment. The laser treatments would be performed at an outpatient appointment.
